INTERNATIONAL JUSTICE MISSION STOP-MOTION
International Justice Mission is the largest slavery-fighting organization in the world. They not only work to rescue and rehabilitate victims of slavery and injustice, but fight for justice on their behalf by strengthening broken justice systems to protect the poor from violence.
This stop-motion was created in one of my graphic design classes to show the impact of the organization and how their reach is changing numerous lives. The polaroids are of people who have experienced injustice who have been helped by IJM. The white push pins represent the locations of IJM's current offices and the black push pins represent the impact they are having which is spreading rapidly.
I used a DSLR camera for this project. It was very tedious and challenging as each completed draft involved over seven hours straight of moving pushpins and pictures in reverse, taking a photo after each object was moved slightly.
