POLAIR
This is a branding book I created for a fictional airline that I call "Polair". I first chose the colors and fonts and then created the logo, plane design, boarding pass, posters and the mobile boarding pass.
I wanted my airline to have a cheerful, modern feel. I chose a polar bear to be the center of my branding and chose typography that would convey a passion for exploration.
With my boarding pass, my goal was to make the information clear for customers to find since this is the most important part of the pass that is not taken into consideration with most airlines. I chose to make it vertical so that it can easily stick in a passport and be read the way it is laid out. The boarding time is often not clearly visible on the boarding passes, so I wanted to make sure that was one of the first things the customer would read.
I chose to put photos of the colorful destinations that Polair would fly to inside the shape of the polar bear logo. It acts as a portal to adventure. I chose white text for its clean, modern feel.
For the mobile boarding pass I chose to use the brand's colors in a beautiful gradient over a photo of the customer's destination. I made the information very clear to read while having a clean, cheerful feel.
